Your company needs to access web services that are viewed as resources and can be identified by their URLs. You will not be using HTTP.

What technology would you recommend to do this?

Answer: REST

- I didn't understand why it says "You will not be using HTTP" if REST services are HTTP based as well ?

tks!!!

A URL implies it is resolvable with an IP address. So, I'm guessing any technology that uses an IP address but isn't specifically bound to http. Lots of technologies use resolvable URLs but aren't bound to http. ftp, mq, gopher.....

Did the question have options?
