Hello Everyone,
I am about to start preparation for the SCEA exam and I need some help and guidance corcerning the following

1. materials that are useful for the exam
2. how long to plan for the study
3. study tips

a little background of myself, i have a BSc in Computer Science, and I am also have a SCJP.

Without any new books specifically targeted for SCEA5, you can look at going over the old standards:

Small SCEA Guide by Cade
Big SCEA Guide by Sun
Design Patterns by Sun
J2EE Design Patterns by Sun

Suggested Books for SCEA JEE5 Certification Success

Plus, you need to know about EJB3 and JSF. That'll require some digging through online tutorials and summaries. Knowledge of the latest web services standards is important too.

It's a tough exam, especially part I, because it pulls from so many pieces. It'd be very difficult to estimate someone's required study time.

I have previous version of Mark cade book and J2EEArchitectHandbook by Derek C.Ashmore. Will it be useful for the SCEA 5?
