Hi folks,

I have completed SCJP certification and now planning to write SCEA.
Do i need to have any work experience on web services or
EJB for writing the exam?

Can you please let me know how to start with SCEA preparation?
Thanks in advance.

It is advisable to have work experience before you take the exam. A SCEA without some good work experience to back it may not get you as far as you want

You should have experience about JSF, EJB 3.0, Web Services, JMS, RMI to do SCEA.

But if you don't have experience in some parts, it's still OK, just study from books.

Hi Guys,

I cannot rely on my work experience to write the exam coz i myself never know when i'll be working on JSF, EJB 3.0, Web Services, JMS, RMI etc.

Hence i have decided to read and practice them to prepare for SCEA.
Though it may require more hard work and time, i found this to be the optimum solution.

Guys, can you please tell me where i need to start with and the books to follow for SCEA.

I would be thankful for your guidance.
