1. Are all questions to be based on EJB 3.0 spec?

2. Can we have a separate forum for SCEA 5?

1 - Yes

2 - No

Why urgent

Also you need to follow naming conventions. More info on that here

Why would we need a "separate" forum for SCEA for Java EE 5? They've retired the old one - there's only one that is currently available for someone just starting it to purchase in the marketplace. There's no call for any such thing to avoid confusion or the like.

Hi John

Thanks for your help in answering questions and maintaining the rules. It is really appreciated.

In this particular case, though, P Das has a valid display name. Das is a valid last name, and the rules allow a single initial for the first name.

Regards, Andrew

Hi,

Thanks for the answer; I could not use my full name since it was taken by another, hence initial for first name.

I needed the info urgently since I am to take the first part ASAP (under compulsion in a week's time), while some SCEA 5 tests would still have questions like:
1) What you do to implement a ... bean, where the 'correct' choice include Home Interface
etc.

Any suggestion/guidance/reference/list of materials to study/etc from experienced ranch hands will be gratefully appreciated :-)

I'm not sure if this is true.

There seemed to be questions on benefits of EJB 3.0, which would imply knowledge of EJB 2.x.

Explain the benefits of the EJB 3 development model over previous EJB generations for ease of development including how the EJB container simplifies EJB development.

I wouldn't spend alot of time studying the older versions though, that's for sure.
