Kathy or Evelyn, I set up an exam date and received my response from Prometric, but I have a question. Why does the name show the following: Exam Name: SUN CERTIFIED MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPER FOR J2EE 1.4 Exam Number: 311110 Is that suppost to be "J2ME something" or are they really referencing this exam somehow with J2EE.
Howdy -- I would just ignore that part about J2EE 1.4. I'm sure that's a typo, left over from the SCWCD exam which DOES say "for J2EE 1.4". Although that's actually kind of funny... but no, the exam has nothing to do with J2EE, and that's just a mistake. Don't worry about it. There is only one version of this exam, and as long as it says "Mobile" somewhere in the name, you've got the right one! cheers and good luck, Kathy
Hi There! Prometric had an error in their message. The exam is: Sun Certified Mobile Application Developer for the Java 2 Platform, Micro Edition, Version 1.0. "SCMAD" J2ME The error has been fixed. Thanks. Evelyn

Hi Evelyn, I've just registered today and prometric send me a confirmation email, in which "J2EE" is corrected to "J2ME" already... But the version number is still 1.4... The complete title appeared in the email is Sun Certified Mobile Application Developer for Java 2 Platform, J2ME 1.4 Just my 2 cents...
