Objective 2.5 (CLDC) - Write code that effectively manages memory / garbage collection.
The only thing that I know of related to this objective is System.gc().
Are there any other classes/methods that we can use to effectively manage memory?
Thanks.

I don't know if this would count, but for the sake of completeness, you probably want to also just consider code that handles resources effectively in the CLDC situation. Concepts like releasing resources after use and nulling out objects when you don't need them anymore so you can conserve limited memory.

Hi,
I wonder if 'ROMizing' comes under this topic. Its on page 43 (section 5.3.4) of the MIDP 1.1 spec. ??
