Which of the following statements about relationship between JTWI specification and MIDP/CLDC/WMA/MMAPI specifications are true?
(Select TWO)

A.JTWI mandates the media types that must be supported in a device implementing MMAPI 1.1.
B.JTWI mandates that VolumeControl must be implemented if a compliant device supports MMAPI.
C.A JTWI compliant device must have CLDC 1.1 as the minimum configuration.
D.JTWI mandates that a compliant device must support GSM or CDMA technologies.

Appreciate help and comments. Is there a problem with this questions. Seem like there are THREE correct answers.

Hi,

Only two answers are correct - A & B.

To ensure compatibility among various devices, JTWI 1.0 mandates some media types that are left optional in MMAPI. Refer to spec. 6.5 for one such example. Hence, A is correct.

B is also correct. Refer to spec. 6.4 in JTWI 1.0.

The minimum configuration required is CLDC 1.0 according to JTWI 1.0, and hence, C is incorrect.

JTWI 1.0 does not mandate any cell transmission technology. In fact, that's totally out of the scope of JTWI itself. Hence, D is incorrect.

However, it does specify features that MUST be supported (like SMS, Push, etc.) if the device supports GSM or CDMA.
