Hi everybody,
Can anyone tell me what is RFC (it's full form and what does it mean)? Heard it's part of J2ME but don't know what is it and when is it used.
It would be great if anyone can throw some light on this.
Thanx in advance
neeta

RFC = Request for Comments
The Requests for Comments (RFC) document series is a set of technical and organizational notes about the Internet (originally the ARPANET), beginning in 1969.

FTP got its own RFC. HTTP got its own RFC and so on... As far as I know, IETF maintains the list of RFCs... So RFCs are kinda references or notes for a protocol... You might want to have a look at IETF site as well...

Hope it helps...
