Hi, all!

This is the situation:

The first MIDlet is started and, in a dynamic way, register a socket connection on port 5000. After that the MIDlet is drestroyed.

The second MIDlet is installed and it has a static socket connection on port 5000 defined in the JAD file.

Is it followed by a sucessfully installation?

If an inbound connection on pot 5000 is detected, what's happen?

Thanks,
Wilder

Good question...

Ok for static we know that 2 midlets suites accessing same port can not run or be installed at the same time..

For dynamic connections...after the application is installed and registers a connection, even after it is destroyed the list of dynamically registered connections are saved, so it means that they must be resereved for this MIDlet...so any other MIDlet suite trying to use should fail to install...
