Hello,

I just started to study J2ME and Id like to know if the book J2ME-Java in Small Things from Manning is a good start point.

Thanks in advance.

A good starting point would be the specs... More specifically, CLDC 1.1 Specification... Print out the exam objectives from Sun's web site and go along with those...

The specs you need are
CLDC 1.1
MIDP 2.0
WMA 1.1
MMAPI 1.1
JTWI 1.0

I do suggest you to depend heavily on the specs for your study for SCMAD exam... Since there is no exam specific book for this exam yet, the specs are the only documents that are trustful... So go ahead with the specs and tackle the exam...

Hope my suggestion helps...
