Hi friends,
I am looking for a good JAVA book from starting level to advanced level, it must be good to read, and easily understandable.
I thought of taking any one from JAVA 2 COMPLETE REFERENCE and HEADFIRST JAVA, which one is better, or else is there any other book which is better than these Two book's.
Plz help me,

Regards,
Anwesh.

I have both and I'd recommend Head First Java for a beginner. Part I of Java - The Complete Reference is a good intro to the language as well, and the rest of it will help you advance your skills as it digs deeper into the API. But for starting out, Head First all the way!

Anwesh,
There is an SCJP ranch out there to wander around. This forum is for those who are preparing for Sun Certified MOBILE APPLICATION DEVELOPER Exam... You will be able get more responses from folks out there in that forum... Hope you will have fun out there...

All the best...
