no one want to waste money for buying voucher for scmad
is scmad technology is not in demand these days

Some of us have vouchers and are just trying to find time to squeeze in studying for the exam.

I think a lot of it has to do with varying demand for the technology across the board. Java ME isn't big, still, in the States (or at the very least, I've not seen very many jobs listed anywhere near me for the technology, and I live in the Baltimore/Washington, DC area), but growing, so I'm expecting that demand for SCMAD-certified developers will grow given some time.

I beg to disagree, J2ME has started growing, Most of the phones in the US are J2ME enabled, Big Companies such as Google and IBM are advertising every day for j2ME Programmers, Most companies have started realizing that the future is not in Laptops but in Hand Held Devices, SUN is not realy doing much to gain a foot hold in the Mobile Device Industry( From my own point of view)Maybe they are waiting for the Seattle Comapany to Dominate the Market like they do for Desktop Computers.

I think none of us are going to deny that it's growing - Java ME was one of the requirements I set out for my wife when she was researching new cellphones for us. However, I'd also be the first to say that I've seen few Java apps for the phone aside from the odd downloadable game, which is why I have the thought on it that I do.

Again, as I said earlier, it might just be my neck of the woods, but I'm not seeing it quite yet.
