Are you referring to this old post?

Maybe because few people are interested in the SCMAD (witness how few posts this forum gets). Or maybe because it's not clear what "the specification for the SCMAD" is.

One problem with this is that it is used to imply mere contradistinction, as opposed to that.

The other problem is that it has two implementations in Java, one that has to do with dot notation, such as this.name, while the other implementation has to do with constructors, such as this() or this(username);

I'm not going to cast judgement as say it's 'wrong or right.' I've just come to accept that this is, and I've accepted that because of that, it is what is is. This is, that is.

By the way, the old post clearly asks for the SCMCD specification, not the SCMAD specification. The two are clearly different.
