I am currently studying for the exam, and I often find myself doubtful about how something is going to be asked on the exam.

So, if you can help me, I'll start asking here whenever I find such things.

First of all, something I've been wondering about is: if some question mentions CLDC, but not its version which version should I assume?

Well, even though none is helping, I'll keep asking...

This one is about the attributes in the JAR Manifest and Application Descriptor.

Sathya's notes and some sources state that the name, version and vendor attributes are optional in the manifest, but mandatory in the jad.

Other sources, including the midp api, state that "The manifest MUST contain ..."

Other places say that they are optional, but need to be defined in either the Manifest or Application Descriptor. By the way, how does it relate to trusted MIDlet Suites?
