hello, i can't download ejb2.0 specification from sun's site in PDF form! there's always an error window reading 'File doesn't begin with "%PDF-"' in the end of the download. could you give me a help? or where else can i get the specification? tons thanks
Hmmmm.... I just tried downloading it again and it worked for me on my Mac. You *do* have the option of browsing the spec online, but that's no fun. Are you sure you're at: Download page for EJB specs Be SURE you scroll down to get to the EJB 2.0 spec, Final Release (not the first two, which are EJB 2.1 specs) Maybe someone else knows what's going on and can help. good luck, Kathy
I just downloaded the specification successfully. Actually, my IE browser opened the pdf file and I chose to save it from manu bar. Try it this way. dennis

You can use GhostView(GSView) to open it on your window machine. Search the software and download on the web. It is free. dennis
I had that problem too (i used IE w/ XP), an here is what I'd done: I tried a few things that didnt work at all, then hit the back button - by accident. It opened the whole stuff with the acrobat plugin. Hit the SAVE button (AT ACROBAT'S PLUGIN! not the browser's!) and it saved the file with no problem. It seems that the simple fact that the url doesnt end with ".pdf" is enough reason to IE find some trouble. I had that same problem with FOP tests...
Again, try hittin' the <-- button. I tried that a second time and it worked again. Just remember it is quite a big file, so give the browser some proper time before loosing hope .
You were trained to handle mission impossible; 'difficult' should be a walk in the park for you.
