Kathy, I just downloaded the chapter last night and read a little. I must say that it is really cool. I remember going through the other Head First book at JavaOne, but didn't get a chance to really read any of it. But reading this one on the EJB Overview, I really really like it.
I didn't realize that with all the pictures and little side paragraphs in boxes can really help in learning. I remember the Mail Messenger that had the letter to send. then the picture of J2SE, JDBC, and JMS, that got sent to all those Jacks. At least something like that, I only read that story once.
I wish the entire book was already released, I need it to study all the objective.
Thanks for posting that chapter.
Mark

As an additional plea:
Kathy, can you get O'Reilly to get Amazon to allow Head First EJB to be pre-ordered like HFJ was?
Thanks

Mark, are you talking about the book "Head First Java". I thought that book covers just core java. If you talking about some other book by Kathy related to EJB, can you please send me the url from which I can download the sample chapter.
Regards,
Ritu

Ritu, shame your post wasn't before Valentin's because he would have posted the link.
Here it is again.

Kathy posted the instructions for downloading some sample chapters at https://coderanch.com/t/157664/java-EJB-SCBCD/certification/ejb-environment
