Late August has been mentioned, although the actual date hasn't been published (and is possibly postponed if Sun doesn't get enough beta testers before July 7th).

Howdy, no date is set, but we still expect it in late August, or more likely very early September. Either way, it is not to early to start preparing

Extending the beta will not delay it very much, if at all. We'll just have to work faster to take it from beta to release.
