I finally took the beta exam today. I must say, it was a very long test. Took me 3hr 30mins to get done.
Just want to thank all the javaranchers on their tips, especially Kathy's tips and Valentin's cheat sheets.
The mapping was pretty straight forward according to the spec. I do like the drag and drop functions. Something different. Hope the other tests can incorporate this new style.
Thanks all. I guess it's a waiting game now...

So be honest . . .
Did you go back and review any questions after 183 questions ?!!!
I marked some for review and after 3 hours I looked back at one or two and said forget it !!!

I did review a little. But you have a point, after 3+ hours, things start to get blurry.
But, I think I'm satisfied with it.

I also reviewed only some of the questions. I was afraid of making new mistakes with a blurry view on the questions

Whats the problem with reviewing questions after 183.
Its not really the number that is an issue. Its the realization that the level of knowledge has greatly increased in the 4hrs, so uncertainty still abounds. Though some indicators occur from other questions.
A review policy is needed, if you're still unsure, which is why presumably it was marked for review then leave as is.
I really don't understand this shrug of shoulders approach being exhibited by some. Reviewing is easy compared to having to complete code and testing to tight deadlines.

Hi,
I took the exam yesterday. Took me more than 3 hours to complete all the questions. After that I did not spent any time in reviewing the answers..183 questions..too much. My thoughts about the exam: a little bit much attention to CMP..for the rest it follows the ejb spec really well. All I can do now is wat..if I pass it..thats a win..if i fail..i know what to expect when I do it paid..still a win.
i have a very positive feeling about participating in the Beta.thanks for all the contributors!
