Hello, I'm relaively new to EJB's and I find that there is so much out there on the subject that I just can't seem to get a grip on the best way to start learning about it. I've read some posts that say they've passed the exams just by studying the Specification. Is that the way to go? Or should I just dive in head first and hope for the best? :-) Any suggestions? Thanks.

Is that a pun? (Head First EJB is this week's giveaway!) Seriously, though: I'd start with Sun's online tutorials. They're very good, and free. Plus, most of their books have downloadable PDFs. Sun has a J2EE Tutorial, which encompasses JavaBeans, and a new J2EE 1.4 Tutorial for the new release. Good luck, and happy studying!

Thanks Jeff. Actually the pun was not intended and I didn't notice it until you mentioned it. Not a bad one though, even if I do say so myself. Thanks again and I'll definately have a go at the Sun Tutorials. Regards Roland
