I am really excited to read this new book!! I read K&B's Sun certified Programmer and Developer Book, and I thought it was a great certification tool.
I am also a big fan of Oreilly books. I was not surprised to see their name on this book.

As for me, I read their book, since the first edition of the book. In the first edition, there is no SCJD part...
I got the latest edition of the book at my university library... I have read the part of the SCJD and the contents are really fantastic...
I do recommend the latest version of SCJP & SCJD... I am really interested in the EJB book too...

I never had the chance to read any of their books. Basically I did not know about javaranch untill I started preparing for the web component certification, but their names and their book came up so often, that I want to win this book so badly especially now that I am starting to prepare for the business component certification.
