Why is there no one reply to this thread? I think this sample is useful for those, who are interested to buy the book, when it is published...

No, viswanadh... That's only for preview... We can just know the flow of the book from that sample and later we can decide whether or not to buy the book...

By the way, Sainudheen, have u passed the SCBCD exam? I think once I saw you declared your score somewhere in this site...
If not yet, do u mind if I ask you when you will site for the exam and how many months u plan to cover the details on SCBCD?
Thank you in advance...

Do u mean the Mastering EJB II book, which is avaliable to download freely on the Oreilly site? I think u have a lot of experience on EJB and SCBCD is just a piece of cake for u... U even have SCEA...
I admire you, Sivasundaram...

Hi,
I had a look at the first chapter. I love all the visuals! It is very entertaining and as interactive as a book can be. We need more I.T. books like this, rather than some of the drole, serious stuff that is produced. Why not make learning as fun as possible?! Most refreshing!
Cheers,

Yeah, mike... I was also very impressive with the layout and design of the book... "Head First" Series are always different from other books in the market... This kind of book can reduce stress in reading a technical book like this... And also the readers always enjoy reading it...

Hi Everybody,
I'm sitting behind a firewall and cannot download these "much-talked-about" sample chapters....I'd read the first chapter sometime ago though. Anyone who can make these chapters (2,3,4) available for HTTP download??
Thanks in advance.
Cheers

(Hopefully)
I will take SCWCD 1.4 (beta) if will recieve free voucher from sun.
In HFEJB book,
I think, this book is diiferent another books because :
Detail in HFEJB is specified by SCBCD Objective. But if you want to create app with EJB, NEED to read in another resource + HFEJB
With detail of HFEJB(Preview version) is very good.
How do you think about this book ?

I guess Ko Ko's Angelfire urls have some problem at the moment.
I too had the same problem with the firewall, so I used the site : www.proxify.com thru my IE browser and it worked for me.
ftp://ftp.wickedlysmart.com/
pub and review directories have the pdf files. Right click and save them onto ur hard disk with a different name.
