To Kathy and Bert - So is the book out?

Hi Kathy and Bert,
this week's javaranch book promotion is set for 'Head First EJB'. So is the book out in the market??? If yes, Congratulations !
Well, I was involved in the beta testing of this...I did one batch of questions. Bert had mentioned that beta testers would get their names printed in the book as a technical reviewer of some sort. So is my name listed ???
I am anxiously waiting for the book to come in market....

Bert Bates told that an advanced copy is out today and amazon will start shipping it in a day or two.
Regarding beta testing,i did all the 3 parts and bert has assured me a head-shot pic :-)

Hi Everybody,
I've been lurking around in this forum for about 3 weeks now....reading the posts...gathering info from you guys about the SCBCD exam.
"Head First EJB" seems to be the right book to prepare for the exam, so I don't want to take a shot at the exam without going thru this book.
Eagerly waiting to get my hands on it.

did everybody get all the 3 batches. I gor just one ! when i sent it back to bert after reviewing , he did not respond ! So i am not sure whether i am considered as a beta tester.

So u will take the exam, only after u read the book thoroughly, won't you? By the way, how many months ahead will u plan for the exam? And do u have EJB hand-on experience? I haven't done any project on it... Just self-studying... Could you please share your preparation to us here? Thank you in advance...

I don't know if this would be so lucky or not... Did any of you see the some of the pictures in the first book. You might be surprised to see how your picture is used. This isn't a Wrox book (nor would any other book to be published any time soon).

Wrox was bankrupted, wasn't it? I just heard some news about it... In my personal view, Wrox books are really difficult to read... It depends on the individual's view...

I don't see your pic in the Acknowledgement Page... That's how I know that you didn't give your pic to Kathy... Just guessing...
