Hello, Kathy and Bert !
Do you (or publisher) plan to release PDF edition of HF EJB ?
Or maybe it will be made available via Safari web-site?
Thanks.

Personally, I'd probably say that a Safari version is probably more likely than a PDF, given the publisher.

It'd be sweet though if I could put it on my Palm and read it during looong boring meetings...

Howdy --
Right now, we don't have plans for the PDF version... but that's an interesting idea, and we'll bring it up with the publisher. It won't be on Safari because Safari is for text-based books, that can be rendered in XML. That's impossible to do with a Head First book, because they are graphics-based, not text-based. Think of a Head First book as 700+ pages of individual hand-outs, rather than a flow of continuous text. There IS no continuous text flow. It's a *designed* book rather than a *written* book... that's the best way I know how to describe the physical aspects of it. So unfortunately, there isn't yet a way to handle that in Safari.
But we'll see about the PDF thing... I kind of like that idea.
cheers,
kathy

Kathy,
I got sample chapters in PDF format... I guess the PDF version of the whole book already existed in the secure place of the publisher (or) maybe you and bert... It's not a big deal to publish PDF version and sell for the amount less than the hard copy... There are many sites, who sells PDFs in the market...
