Hello KS-BB,
Most of the new books have a few pages to preview at Amazon.com. However your book only displays the main cover. Is there any specific reason you don't display them from Amazon inspite of the fact that you already have pdf versions of the TOC, first chapter, and a few others at your ftp site.
It would be more convinient for us to view them from Amazon rather than come to javaranch for the ftp site.
Just curious

Howdy -- good question Karen, I really don't know the answer. Actually, I do know why they don't have samples up of the EJB book -- even O'Reilly hasn't made those yet. But Amazon doesn't have samples of our Head First Java book, either, and I'm not sure why. I'll ask the O'Reilly folks about that...
I do know that O'Reilly will have samples up soon. Most of what you've seen PDFS of are not actual chapters, but pages from 'cheat sheets' we made to help people with the beta, so they are not final pages from the book (although that material is *somewhere* in the final book).
The things I posted recently on the wickedlysmart ftp site ARE from the real book, and we will be making bigger samples available for O'Reilly's site, and perhaps they'll end up on Amazon.
There might not be anything but our ftp site for a week or two, though...
But thanks for the suggestion! It's a good idea.
cheers,
Kathy
