Hi,
I wanted some advice on learning EJBs. The questions I have are: What are the best books on the topic, the best online tutorials, and what 'pre-requisites would you recommend'? We've been working in Pittburgh with Carl Trusiak (another Java Ranch guide) on a project to rewrite Yahoo!Groups in Java. It's called "jugsoft" and is opensourced on sourceforge. I was hoping if any developers out there might be able to give us some feedback on how to improve our development process? One of the problems we've been having is that it's taking so long and we all come from different skills areas. I guess the question I would like an answer to - is what are the best ways to manage opensource projects?
EJB's are only part of it. We're using all the other 'traditional' java technologies, too, in J2EE. A copy of an information posting is included below incase anyone is interested in knowing more.

I've edited out the JUG info and associated links. Please feel free to re-post that information in Blatant Advertising (or perhaps Java News) if that is your wish. -- Michael
