Hi all:
I like the book very much. However when I ordered it via bookpool I got very very very bad experience (the packing have a big problem and book is demaged) . At one point they told me I will get re-ship and teh other time the customer service told me she just reconfirm a polcy .... If you ordered it form oversea pls think twice....
The story is shared at (a website let people rank online bookshop)
http://www.epinions.com/webs-Web_Services-All-Merchants-Bookpool/display_~reviews
Any input is welcome.
The follow up ...
My intention is to share the email message with bookpool and let people judge the situation (better than just my words). However I just receive an email from bookpool's customer services threaten me to take legal action if I share it ... what an excellent bookshop !!!
Regards

I just would like to share sthing...
For me, since I am very sensitive to credit-card processing on the internet, I usually buy books at the nearest bookstore. One advantage is that I can skim throughout the book and I can even ask for the new book instead of the one on the shelf... I mean I like to shop books in the bookstore, rather than just insert my credit numbers and click to order online...
Just to share sthing...

I buy books online only. Thanks for sharing information. You can try overstock.com they have 16% off on Amazon.com price (check if they have HFE). I had good experience with them (US shipping only). I am regular customer of Amazon.com & Overstock.com for buying books. I bought some books from bookpool 2-3 years back (they are okay) but most of the time books are out of order on their website.

YOu are still scared of that? All transaction on your credit card can be dispute if you found something wrong. The credit card company will handle the investigation.

Have best of both worlds. Order it through Amazon with 30%+ discount and ask for Store Pickup..

I bought the book through bookpool.com. I don't have any problems in getting the book. I bought many books from them previously too, and never had trouble. The good part is, we get the books at very discounted prices.

I bought books form they for the past few years ... until they change their packing materials and start complain to them because a damage shipment ... pls be aware that
1. They even do not have a phone number for you to call them (when I try to complain)
2. They threaten to take legal action against me if I share the email exchanged with them with others
3. They do not have address on their website but a mail box
4. The customer once promise a re-shippment but on the other day they "JUST" confirm there is a plocy that they can't do it.
So judge yourself. I do not trust them anymore and ask them to close my account. I also advice all of my friend to do the same. Yes, they have a discount price, but the quality of books I get is like third (not second) hand.
