Hi Kathy,
In page 223 of HF EJB, it would be more meaningful if you rename "method ready" state to "method ready pool" for stateless session bean lifecycle diagram. This is what is mentioned in spec too.. ( diagram in page 89 of spec )

Seems like when the bean is in the pool, it's in the method ready state, and when the bean is out of the pool (servicing a business method call), it's also in the method ready state.
