Hi Kathy & Bert,
The book (Head First EJB)is excellent. I am a trainer and I recommend different EJB books to my students. I am thinking of recommending this book from now onwards for learning EJBs. I started from page 1 today and reached upto page 163. I am planning to read the book in 4 days.
You may want to take a look at page 163. Probably needs little correction on the 2 nd picture. It should be AFTER: 1 dog, 2 references.

You are right; I corrected that in my book.
There is provision at the Oreilly site for you to post corrections on the book.
