Any good books to start reading (besides your pending one) for this?
I may actually have to start a project, both with J2ME for card-swipe units and porting an IIS/XML/WAP setup to J2ME.

There is no forum for the SCMAD exam yet. I'm gonna let Kathy answer your question for the benefits of all and then this post might be closed anytime.

Looking at the tremendous use of Java apps on teh mobile phone
I think Sun needs to have Sun Certified Mobile Application Developer exam
Apart from taht it would be good if Sun introduces exams for
1)Web Services
2) J2ee Design patterns
