Hi,
1. Do we have the division(number) of questions per objective available?
2. In the Head First EJB book in two places it is referred to the "Patterns and Performance" chapter, am i missing something?
(also, the coffee cram questions refer to the following chapter than the one in which we are tested, was it on purpose?)
Thanks.

Hi Loga,
Good question, you caught us
We originally intended to include a patterns chapter in the book, but as we approached and then went past the deadline, and the book grew to about 100 pages more than planned, we decided we had to release the book for everyone prepping for the exam. Patterns are NOT on the exam, so the "missing" chapter won't hurt your exam preparations.
We do intend to write a patterns chapter and it will be available on the wickedlysmart website as a free download. When the chapter is ready we will let everyone on this forum know, so stayed tuned!

Howdy -
Yeah, there are NO patterns/performance questions on the exam. As for questions per objective, they're very closely weighted, so most objectives will get just ONE question and around 16 objectives will get TWO questions for that objective. We do not have a way to tell you *which* objectives might get two questions instead of one, and in fact some of this is randomly distributed. But it's extremely unlikely that you will ever get THREE questions on a particular objective. Although we're talking about specific objectives, not objective "sections", so if there is a section with a lot of objectives, then it means you'll get a lot of questions for that *section*. Sections are just the way in which we organized the objectives when we created the exam.
But no patterns on this one. There WILL be patterns on the new SCWCD (as there are on the current one) and we expect that the next version of the SCBCD *will* have some J2EE patterns, but that won't be until we revise it, which is probably a year from now.
cheers,
kathy
