hello all,
i thought one of the answers for question 5 in page 171 in HFE would be C too but it's not. The question ask if the statement is true for session beans.

C. The remove() method in the component interface can be used only by remote clients.

As i understand, it could be Yes if the component interface is *remote" and no if the component is *local*. But the comment next to it says - no, only for local. What does it mean? is it that the remove method in the component interface as stated in the question can only be used by local client?
could you please clarify it?
thanks.

Howdy -- the answer is correct, but I have no idea what the annotated comment means! Just ignore it. It probably should have said, "this would be true if we said HOME interface", because with a session bean, you can't use a remove() method on the home unless the interface is local. (Since the local home interface remove takes a primary key).
cheers,
Kathy
