I bought K&B's book a few days ago and found that like their SCJP book, this one does not have a CD!! Any specific reason ??

You will not find electronic version of the book here, but you can download code for some of the examples and answers to 'Sharpen Your Pencil exercise'.

Further from this site you can jump to O'Reilly, which contains more information including Errata.
Hope this helps.
if there was electronic version of the book, then some would have opted that to actually buying the book and this would be great injustice to the authors of such a splended book.
