get another bean's reference

I know bean not get another bean reference in setSessionContext() of session bean ,but this just a rule in spec. I want to know the stuff, in other words if a bean can do it it must in what context.
Can someone can explain?

See Table 2 Pg 80 and Table 3 Pg 90 of EJB Spec. These tables list the methods in the session bean class and the things which can be done in those methods. Wherever it says "Enterprise bean access" it means you can access other beans from those methods.
