Hi,
I need experience guys advise regarding preparation of exams.
I have arround 2.5 years of J2EE experience, but most of the experience is in servlets, JSPs, Beans JDBC etc. I have little experience in state less session beans and no experience in all other EJBs.
I want to prepare for the exam, that will enhance my knowledge and as well as my resume.
Please if you can tell me the resources and time i will need to study. I cleared SCJP 1.4 in 3 weeks.
Thanks
Saeed

I would say 1 month , by studying 2-3 hours daily
If you have the Head First EJB book and an exam simulator (whizlab or softSCBCD) then I am sure that you can easily cruise through
Good luck !!

Yes. kathy and bates book is more than enough.
But you might also want to look at additional resources. Information about teh books and simulators is available at the SCBCD link , which is at the top of the page when you enter the forum
here is teh link anyway ..

If you are more keen on EJBs, then you can also read EJB2.0 specs available at the SUN site. But as Hari said, Kathy's book is sufficient enough to study EJBs and pass the SCBCD exam.
