The order of the elements are important in ejb-jar.xml?

The order of the elements are important in ejb-jar.xml? e.g, <prim-key-class> MUST be ahead of the element <primkey-field>? What happen if the order is reversed?

I think the order of <method-params> tags are certainly important, not sure about <prim-key-class>

All XML file(s) have to follow the rules mentioned in their associated DTD file(s).
ejb-jar.xml is related to ejb-jar.dtd.
So the order is important, else you might get deployment errors.
