If there is a question in the exam which just mentions entity bean , should we take it as a CMP , even if the behaviour for CMP and BMP and entirely different ... Like the question on HFEJB , Q11 , page 370 .

Yes! The exam is *only* about CMP. BMP is not on the exam objectives, so you won't need to guess (or know) if an entity bean is CMP or BMP, on the exam. Most of the time, we *did* explicitly say "CMP entity bean", but in cases where we did not, you are to assume that we are referring to CMP. You could answer every entity bean question correctly *without* having to read the BMP portions of the EJB 2.0 spec.
