I have two questions.
1) Some of the Whizlabs products say "Success guaranteed". I am not sure how that works. Can you explain(to give perspective about how you are confident about that).
2) How achievable is SCBCD for some one with couple of years of J2EE experience.

hi Kishore
We have achieved a high success rate with our products by implementing best practices and standards like ISO: 9001-2000. All our products are backed by "Unconditional 100% Money Back Guarantee". Please check out http://www.whizlabs.com/money-back-guarantee.html for details.
The SCBCD exam is based on J2EE 1.3, its intended for developers who have at least a few months' experience in working with EJB.
If you have been in the field for a couple of years, achieving SCBCD certification would not be difficult. You would still need a few days' preparation based on the exam objectives.
You can find the exam prep. resources here

Thanks
Seema

Seema,
So if you are a j2ee developer and you buy the simulator, you guys guarantee that we will pass the exam? The first time?? WOW! That's a pretty good deal...

I just told my neighbour(who is almost 0 on programming knowledge) about the money back guarantee, he is planning on aiming for the test.

Hi,
To get Money Back, you need to spend it first . And if you spend it on Whizlabs, there are 99.7% chances that you'll not ask for Money Back!
Best wishes,
Pradeep

I don't want to resurrect the everlasting debate about certifications and their value but I don't think that certification exams have been created for that purpose. The primary condition for taking a certification exam is to at least know a little bit the technology and use it on an everyday basis. On Sun's website it says "The Sun Certified Business Component Developer for the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition 1.3 is for programmers specializing in leveraging the Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE platform) technologies used to develop server-side components that encapsulate the business logic of an application."
It's not because something is free (or can be made free) that you have necessarly to be a candidate for it, or do you

I think WhizLabs will check whether the candidate really have a background in programming in Java(at least passed SCJP) and decide the money back guarantee is permitted to that user or not...
How come a candidate, who does not know anything in programming, took the SCBCD exam and failed... Then he/she claims for the money back guarantee... I feel it nonsense...

haha, good one you had everyone going in here. I was about to post on how i hate people you take tests and don't even know how they apply, but after i read your post, i'll spare you all
Anyways, i would agree, certs are developers who want that extra leverage when someone asks you if you know a technology. I love just flashin the certs then
