I'm preparing for BCD exam and planning to finish it by this month end. But for me it's difficult to remember DD entries as many questions are on this. It's really very confusing.

Is there any easy way to remember DD entries easily? Request suggestion any of BCD qualifiers.

Try to look for similarities between tags, or tag-names that are reused for different 'things', like <bla-bla-name> and <bla-bla-type>. What sure helped me was writing my own DD's for a virtual EB, SB and MDB. Also check out the cheat sheet on javaranch, for studying which role writes which tags...

Good luck!

Thanks Jef.

Kirti-----> I have the following resources.

Head First EJB book .... Needs atleast 1-2 times revision. But looks more errors. Go thru authors errata page to correct few of them. http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/hfjejb/errata/.

EJB spec....Following Valentine's Mapping between Exam Objectives and EJB 2.0 spec. Need not study the entire spec.

And I have INESystems Ltd and softSCBCD simulators.

I feel need more concentration on the following topics:
Transactions, Exceptions, EJB-QL, Relations, Enviroment and Security. Ofcourse remembering DD entries, Bean Provider, AA and Deployer responsibilities are very important.

Kirti..Hope this helps. Ofcourse watching this forum for any doubts clarification.

Those who passed BCD, pl help me if I need to do any thing extra which I'm missing here.

Hi,

I passed SCBCD (97%) by studying HF accompannied by a little spec studying when something was not entirely clear... I did a lot of mock exams (mostly HF and ejbcertificate.com) and learned the cheat sheets from this site by heart. I did have some experience in developing EJBs before i started, so that helped...

Good luck!
