i just saw a friend of mine using a small utility which creates the ejb files and xml file,we only have to enter the required names and specifications via a gui.
More and more IDEs support J2EE developement and deployment. They provide user-friendly tools for developers to write and deploy J2EE applications, like WSAD.
if things are that simple, what is the need for anyone to do SCBCD?
Development and deployment did become simpler if we use those
IDE utility, however, how about the logic and EJB rules? We are not only need to deploy the EAR file, and configure the XML file, we also need to write the business logic in EJB, define the security and transaction types, link up other resources or EJBs! This is the core part! Deployment is only a small subset for SCBCD.
what will be its value and use in the industry?will we work on such tools?
The value is you know what going on, instead of just using all things that generated by the IDE, and those automated processes.
