good books for SCBCD?

as I am new to EJB's which books helps me to get idea. I tried to Head First EJB. but it is some what tough to me.
please suggest some easy books.

For J2EE 1.3 (wich is required for the exam) http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.3/download.html#tutorial

For J2EE 1.4 you can try it at
