Hi,

I am planning for SCBCD exam and collecting the resources for my preparation. I have just bought "Head First EJB" the most suggested book in this forum. I downloaded and installed the j2sdkee1.3.1. Trying to find some help or documentation for this. The installer doesn't come with any kind of documentation about how to start/stop server or guidelines for bean deployment etc. This disappointed me a lot that Sun doesn't provide easy documentation with the installer. I am seeking some help here.

I have done some EJB work using Weblogic Server. I feel comfortable with Weblogic's nice server console, where bean deployment is like uploading picture into online photo album. But I am concerned if this much comfort restrict to learn real stuff for exam. Any advice here?

I am looking forward to this forum to be my true companion during my learning and preparation.

Thanks a lot!

The book will drive you through the steps required to use the deploytool. Be aware! There is a known issue with the bean development. You'll need to change the business method signature in something else than 'getAdvice()'.

For other readings, you may want to find the suggested links at the home page for this forum.

Good luck for your exam.
