Hi,

I'm using deplytool of J2EE 1.4 RI.

I have 3 classes in a package structure:
...
|
mypackage
|
Calculation.class
CalculationBean.class
CalculationHome.class

I followed steps from Heaf First EJB book.

In the Edit tab, I added the mypackage directory. When I clicked Next, it says:

The class (mypackage.CalculateBean) could not be loaded.
Please consult onlinr help for assistance in setting up the class root directory and choosing class files.

What could be the problem?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Rajeev.

I haven't used the setup you are using, so if it's not the obvious I may not be able to help:

In your post, you mentioned

Calculation.class
CalculationBean.class
CalculationHome.class

You say the error you get is:

The class (mypackage.CalculateBean) could not be loaded.

If this is indeed the error you get, then I would suggest you have mistyped CalculationBean as CalculateBean somewhere in the deploytool or deployment descriptor. It'll probably pretty obvious when you look for it.
On the other hand if you simply mistyped your post, then ignore this!
