I have passed SCJP. Now i want to go ahead and write SCBCD. Is it ok to do that or is it advisable to go for SCBCD only after finishing SCWCD?

Thanks,

Doen't make any difference for the real exam, since the SCBCD exam doesn't ask any ques reg servlets and jsps. Well I took SCBCD first and now preparing for the SCWCD exam. The reason was, I was working with EJB when I was preparing for the exam. So it was a bit easy for me to prepare.

Thanks Giju. I am also currently working on EJB so was thinking it makes sense to study for SCBCD. I have a slight experience about Servlets and JSP's but not much. So was wondering what sould be the best.

Thanks,

Two exams are not related to eachother. You can take whichever you want to. For the person that is learning by taking exam it is recomended to take SCWCD first and then SCBCD. But since you have experience in SCBCD you are strongly recommended to go for SCBCD.

Thanks Alfred. But i am one of those guys who is trying to learn by preparing for the exam. So frm ur advice it looks that i gotta take SCWCD first. I have just worked a little bit on Servlets and JSP and Tomcat. That is all.

Thanks,
Shravan
