Looks like a easy target for the Lankans, but but....

...but one should never write-off the Aussies!
Sri Lanka 60/6
Pathetic! And remember the Lankans went into this match with 8 batsmen

Indeed. (SL 65-6)
I'm trying not to let out a preemptive 'woo hoo'

SL 76/7
I don't think you need to control yourself shouting 'woo hoo'!
Okay...we shall meet in the FINALS

I was sad that everybody was busy somewhere else, totally forgetting about this thread. Nice to see posts on this thread again
The key for India in the finals, I guess, is to survive the first 15 overs without losing wickets.
If they can do that, they can win the match.

Better team won the match, and the cup! And why am I disappointed?

Share your sentiments exactly. Was praying oh so hard for India to win... but
Indians had practically no answer to the Aussie juggernaut.

It was bad decision to bowl first...
At that time I told ... Indian team does not perform well under pressure....
AW Auusies are better .....
But this is also true that this time team was also best. Now we are not going to have Kumble and Srinath in next world cup

I must admit that I was hoping there would be a non-Aussie winner in this year's World Cup, and my initial Sri-Lanka/New Zealand finals prediction certainly went begging
But the Australian team was simply streaks ahead of any of their competitors. 359/2 is pretty awesome by anyone's standards.
Cricket teams often rely on one or two of the same players to pull a win out of the bag for them, but the thing that sets Aussie aside from the rest is that they are able to rely on any of the one or two players in their team.
Well done Australia. They have set a standard which will hopefully be pursued by all the other teams.

Should India change its name to Inlia next time?
Or is that Australia can be beaten only when they change the country name to Austradia?

I hired a bunch of ninjas. The fridge is empty, but I can't find them to tell them the mission.
