Hi All,
This being, My first technical post in this SCBCD forum, the question is simple too! I somehow got the answer to my query but wanted to have it ascertained from you people.

The javax.ejb.EnterpriseBean is an interface that extends java.io.Serializable. The javax.ejb.SessionBean interface extends javax.ejb.EnterpriseBean. Does this mean that it extends java.io.Serializable by default?

As per RMI-IIOP specification, any class that is composed inside another class, must explicitly implements java.io.Serializable for the assosiated objects to be Serialized. But when a class inherits from a parent, it inherits all the implemented interfaces also. Am I Right?

Thanks in Advance,
_Mani

Yes, that's correct.
