I know that this will get moved to the Certified Results forum, but I wanted to personally thank Kathy Sierra & Bert Bates for their book Head First EJB. For those of you that haven't bought the book it is well worth the $44.95.

I passed today with 87% accuracy. I know that the book had a major impact on being able to pass with such a good score.

Here are some general tips about the exam:

1) If you aren't ready - move your test date. (I had originally signed up to take the exam last month. I knew I wasn't ready to take it a week before hand. Not a big deal to move it.)
2) Study Head First EJB book!!! So easy to understand.
3) Review EJB Spec!!! Though the Head First EJB book is great there is no substitute from the spec itself. Sometimes it helps just to look at things from a different perspective too.
4) Use mock exams. I only used ejbcertificate.com - it has some short-comings (usually related to ambiguous questions or just wrong answers), but it gets you in the zone. It forces you to apply what you have learned.

Thanks again Kathy and Bert for putting out such a helpful book. I already have started reading Head First Design Patterns. It's the first book that I have encountered that describes design patterns in such an interesting, easy-to-understand way.
