uncommon methods declared in the javax.ejb.EJBContext interface
posted 11 years ago
I understand that we only have a method in a parent class/interface only if it is a common method for all its children class/interface.
But then why are there so many uncommon methods declared in the javax.ejb.EJBContext interface ?
getEJBHome(), getEJBLocalHome()... cant be used by MDB (because MDB has no client interfaces like home and component interfaces).
getUserTransaction() cant be used by EB (because EB must use CMT).
Please help me to understand interfaces
difference between abstract class and interface?
