I think the new home page looks great!
Any constructive comments from the rest of the peanut gallery?

Cool look!!!
So, finally does the registration page "force" new members to have a name that is compliant with JavaRanch's naming Policy?
That'll sure help a lot to the moderators.

Very nice. Although you might want to make the horse a bit smaller. It wastes a lot of space.

Hi,
I like the page, its a lot easier to navigate through, ie, I dont have to drag on the vertical scroll bar on my browser to get to different categories.
Very nice!

Very nice. I like the navigation column on the right. Seems a lot cleaner than the old version, well done!

This page started with David Rizzi. It was then carried by Carl Trusiak, then Mike Curwen, then Marilyn deQueiroz did the version that is currently on the home page. It looks like Dirk is going to take it a bit further. Mapraputa Is and Angela Poynton had some versions of the new home page too.
Several of the bartenders and sheriffs chipped in a little here and there.
