what is principal realm?

Can somebody explain what you mean by principal realm in security domain. I understand the meaning of principal but it is said security domain can provide single or multiple principal realm. What does it mean?
Please somebody explain me with an example.

Hi Prashant,

Principal Realm means defining the boundary for the group of users.

Like group the peoples into employes( Which has some boundary on the application such as they can see their record, modify their records etc).

Like group the peoples under AccountManager etc.
