I am using HFEJB for SCBCD prepration. It's mentioned that EJBQL is needed for both select methods and finders in a CMP bean. Also EJBQL is written in the DD. How can I specify in the DD whether a particular query is for a select mehod or a finder.

Thanks

Hello sangeeta,
This is how you can specify the sql in the DD

<query>
<query-method>
<method-name>ejbSelectGetApple</method-name>
<method-params />
</query-method>
<result-type-mapping>Remote</result-type-mapping>

<ejb-ql><![CDATA[SELECT OBJECT(m) FROM TimePass m]]></ejb-ql>

</query>

You specify the method name and hence there is no confusion regarding its for finder or select method.

Hope that helps.
